Affiliate Program Terms

These Affiliate Program Terms (the “Affiliate Terms”) govern your participation in the LingoSnips affiliate / influencer program (the “Program”). LingoSnips (operated at lingosnips.com) is a trade name wholly owned and operated by Salty Apparel LLC (“LingoSnips”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). By creating an affiliate account or otherwise participating in the Program, you (the “Affiliate”) agree to these Affiliate Terms. They are in addition to, and incorporate by reference, our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not participate in the Program.

1. Participation

The Program is invite-only. You join by redeeming a one-time invite code we send you, which activates your affiliate account and a personal referral link. You must provide accurate information, you must be of legal age to enter into a contract where you live, and you participate as an independent contractor — these Affiliate Terms do not create any employment, partnership, joint venture, or agency relationship between you and LingoSnips.

2. Your Referral Link

We assign you a unique referral link. When a new user arrives through your link, they are attributed to you on a first-touch basis (recorded via a cookie at the time of the click). You earn commission on subscribers who are attributed to you and who become and remain paying subscribers. Attribution and all commission calculations are determined by our systems and records, which are the authoritative source for the Program.

3. Commission

For each paying subscriber attributed to you, you earn the commission rate that was offered to you when your invite code was issued (the “Commission Rate”) — that is, the percentage you were offered, which is shown on your affiliate dashboard. The Commission Rate applies to the net subscription revenue we actually collect from that subscriber (after any discounts, promotions, and taxes), and it recurs for each billing cycle for as long as that subscriber remains continuously subscribed. Commission is earned only on amounts we have actually received and retained.

Your Commission Rate is fixed for your account at the rate you were offered; it does not automatically change with promotions or with other affiliates' rates. We do not pay commission on your own account, on test transactions, on amounts that are refunded, charged back, or reversed, or on subscriptions obtained through prohibited conduct (Section 6).

4. Payouts

Commission accrues as “pending” until it is paid out. We pay out earned commission within 15 days of when we are paid by the subscriber for the corresponding billing cycle (subject to the refund and adjustment provisions in Section 5). You are responsible for providing accurate payment details and for any taxes you owe on commission you receive; where required by law, we may withhold taxes or request tax documentation before paying out.
